for Early Career Clinicians and Graduate Students (Individual and Group)
In essence, therapy is a psychological journey towards greater self-awareness, better emotional regulation, improved relationships and symptom relief. I am dedicated to facilitating a process whereby clients access their already-existing inner resources, learn new skills/strategies, make sustainable changes and achieve better emotional, social, somatic (bodily) and mental wellbeing overall. I have experience and specialty training in treating depression, anxiety, complex trauma, adjustment struggles, grief, loss, intimacy/relationship difficulties and acute stress.

Therapy is different for each person and will be customised to fit specific needs and clients. However, in general, we will use an insight-oriented approach to explore how your inner world, interpersonal dynamics and significant life events have shaped, and are continuing to impact, your current functioning and life path. We will also, in most instances, look at relational patterns, attachment styles/histories, emotional needs, attunement and communication. With children, therapy goals are achieved through non-directive modes like play, creative activities, and games; child therapy also includes parent consultation, as needed. All treatment techniques offered are empirically supported approaches and will be utilised as appropriate.

I truly enjoy providing clinical supervision, case consultation and professional development guidance to graduate students and early career psychologists. I feel passionate about being able to pay it forward in any small way. In supervision, I am happy to share the knowledge I have acquired and teach from my repertoire of skills, to help others in their work and add to the field of psychological practice.
